The Global Leadership Experience (GLE) is a 12-week leadership intensive designed for Chicagoland’s next generation of urban architects. Moving beyond traditional tourism, we immerse rising 9th-12th graders in the "Double Helix" of global leadership: auditing the world-class systems of the Hinge (Infrastructure and Policy) while rooted in the ancestral sovereignty of the Home (Identity and Joy).Through a graded curriculum and on-the-ground residency, students don't just see the world, they study it to return home and architect a strategic wedge for the future of Chicago.
Virtual & Hybrid Labs
The journey begins with Systems Training. Students build their 360-Degree Board of mentors and master the frameworks of Systems Synthesis and Identity Mapping. We prepare the mind to audit global machines while grounding the heart in local purpose.
International On-Site Lab
Students enter the global laboratory to witness the Hinge vs. The Home in action. They audit high-level infrastructure and global logistics (The Hinge) while engaging in deep-rooted community sovereignty and ancestral innovation (The Home). This is where theory meets high-stakes reality.
Design & Synthesis Lab
Students translate their global insights into local action. Every participant designs a Strategic Wedge, a technical and social intervention for a specific challenge in their own Chicago neighborhood.
